Drum Symphony

I have some concerns with the Rock Band 2 Drum Foot Pedal making too much noise. Any way to make it softer?

I’ve seen that there are “foam pads” to make the drums softer, but I haven’t seen anything for the foot pedal. I live in an apartment where the floors are pretty thin, and when one of my friends brought the drum set over, I’m pretty sure that the people downstairs could hear us playing. Any suggestions on homemade solutions or if anyone has developed a better, softer foot pedal?

there have been issues with the foot pedal for rock band. mine broke.. and i wasnt even playing it too hard… i had to order a metal sheet from amazon to fix it up.. and now its fine.. all you need to do is to play softer.. and not stand on it while playing..
