Does anyone know of some songs I could play jazz?

Ok, here's the deal. I play drums, and I hope to test for the stage of my school group. I have really wanted to impress the music director, and she said she wants to play jazz music, when we heard. So nobody knows jazz pieces with drumset good in them? I do not really care problems is, and that can be played in a regular set. Thanks for your help!

Its strange that requires a piece "of jazz, I'm not quite sure what that means. I'd go with drums.i play the snare drum and it it is awesome and all that's not is it hard también a lot of fun. But That is just my opinion. What do you just like the most.

Where can i find Beginner Bass Lessons for free?

I’m a relatively new musician who started playing drums 2 years ago, I have already advanced to the point where i can play at a large event. Keep in mind i play for my church, the music department does not have much members and so when i joined 2 years ago it helped the department but as it stands we only have one in training Bass player, and all the ppl who wanna join wanna play the drums, so now i want to start Bass. I’ve always loved it but my teacher suggested i not start drums and Bass at the same time so i didn’t now its time to take up the second one.
I do not have access to a credit card or any way of paying for it so free lessons would be preferable

Do you have to learn Snare drum before you start learning Quads?

I’m planning on getting drum lessons, and I know nothing about drums. I am really interested in playing the quad drums, but I don’t know if you have to learn snare first, then move on to quads. Also, which is easier? Not like it matters which is easier because I am really dedicated to music and learning about different instruments.

I have played drums since the sixth grade. Normally you begin with the snare, learn you basic rhythm stokes, read sheet music, and practice daily getting your roll to sound almost effortless. Percussion sections are important to a school band, both in concert or marching, as they keep everyone in time. Good luck with your lessons, playing the drums can be fun and possibly in the future, a means of compensation.
