What is the value of a Trek 1400 aluminum frame roadbike in good condition?
Good rubber, shifters on downtube, good gel seat and handlebar tape. This bike was ridden by a bike shop owner in Wisconsin and was rarely used by me. In very, good condition.
This bike was actually a 1990 model. It never left me stranded and was always up for the task. The only things that I did to it during my time with my 1400 is upgrade from down tube to STI shifters and switched to 9 speed with Performance Forte Titan wheels (read my comments on those wheels that section) Kudos to Trek for making such a well-made frame. Newer aluminum models may be lighter, but the attention to detail is better on this one. It was one of the best bikes that I’ve ever owned. Unfortunately it was totaled when my wife drove into our garage with my bike on the roof of my Honda CR-V. There was a crack in the frame that was unrepairable and was not under warranty. Trek went out of their way in trying to rectify this problem buit the bike was too old and it was before the started the lifetime warranty on their bikes. The rep for Trek still went out of his way to help me over a five week span, calling me every other day to update me on the status of my claim. I was so impressed that I bought a 5200 Trek after that. If you find a Trek 1400 or 1500 (Trek still makes the 1500), you won’t regret it. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because they don’t make the 1400 anymore.

I go to college next year and since 12, I missed being a teacher and even took classes at my high school to learn about teaching. I'm really interested in special education, but Last year I was very interested in film and I decided to major in both electronic media and special education in the film. This strange you think? Well its definitely different, but I see nothing wrong with that. I can not find how to combine the two, but I'm sure when you finish your degree, has ideas of what to do. I say so. I keep thinking about how you could make society more aware of special education, the struggle that many parents have to be good education for their students, how difficult it is for cope with an autistic child and their education. On the other hand, I think I see a way to combine the two. Besides, I thought it would be using film to teach students with special needs. Anyway Anyway, good luck and see a bright future for you!

On the hardware goes, you have two options. 1. It can accommodate a business stay. 2. I host at home. Personally, I'd go with option number 1. If you host, will be fully responsible for the maintenance of your server. Unless you have much knowledge of UNIX *, maintaining the secure server will be a problem in itself same. Also, if your home host, all traffic coming to your website gnawing your Internet connection, making web browsing and email almost impossible if you have a high traffic site. As software goes, you (again) have two options. 1. Use precompiled software, customized according to your needs 2. Create your own software. Again, I think the first option is preferable (if third-party software does what you want). If you are not fluent in PHP and MySQL, the creation of the site will be a challenge. Even if you manage to create it, keep it safe to eat all you overtime. As for third-party software would, I'm not sure what to use. Drupal [http://www.drupal.org/] and Joomla [http://www.joomla.org/] are highly scalable, can be able to find extensions that will make the site what it wants. Otherwise, you must create your own. If you are using a Windows server, you need a great deal of knowledge of Windows.
