Slingerland drums?

yeh, I have a battery apparnelty Slingerland kit, which consists of: drums, drum (with stand) hat ride tom cyambal high (attached) lack tom, I do not know if the snare drum, snare support, hi-hat or cymbals wrinkle comes with the kit or purchased separately. The color of the bass drum, tom tom and high is a kind of glossy green sheen. The box is silver. lol that's all I know really. U What is expected for this type of thing, and Slingerland not have half-tom?

It looks like a standard 4 piece Slingerland kit. The trap is standard chrome kits for most of the time. Slingerland level is very good quality input and intermediate teams for many years. The dishes are usually purchased separately. There must be a pair of hi-hat cymbals. The pedal was usually low a "speed king" type of pedal. If the car is in perfect condition (no corrosion or scratches), can be worth up to $ 1,000 to a collector, but it is very rare. More often used to sell these kits anywhere between $ 200 and $ 400. Not having a bass drum pedal affect the price and the apparent lack of a pair of scales hi-hat. This finish is generally known as "the spark of sea foam green" or "green Champagne Call a local drum store for more information

What are the best bass drum pedal only?

I'm looking for a single pedal quickly to work on my technique right foot. I like the drums of things, but the current Zeppelin flights right side of my double pedal is not responding quickly enough for those "low-type double hits. I was hoping that some batteries can take several different pedals that have experience that is very fast, but smooth and powerful. I looked in the King Ludwig speed for a while but I've heard mixed opinions about it. and the King of speed, I found the vintage is "better" than new ones. Is it this true? I have really wanted to stay on course for all and stick to one for now. some of them have been looking … Tama Iron Cobra Speed King Ludwig (vintage or new) Thanks Pearl Eliminator much!

Slingerland Snare
are Slingerland Marching Snare Drums good snar drums?

asdf

Aye. They are, or were at least into the 80s, very good drums. Like everything else musical, Yamaha seems to have beat them up a bit and they have competition from Pearl.

Slingerland was out of business for a while, but is now a part of Gibson musical instruments. I don’t know where their production is now, it may still be a “Made in the USA” product.

… Let’s hope so and let’s hope they regain the market they used to have.

Guitar Pedal Board Case

The use of rhythm and song has been used to express meaning and feeling and accompany rituals.

Guitar Case Pedal Board

Music has been part of human life as long as anyone can trace. The earliest civilizations of man has used music as a way to communicate and express feelings. Of all the musical instruments we see in our society today and use regularly, is an instrument that stands out in musical history the drum.

The history of drums is interesting and unique. When we look at the history of this instrument, you will find that drums have been produced almost all cultures worldwide. Variations of drums and drum sets occurred in many cultures, the standard variety of a drum consisted simply in a hollowed out log or gourd with a piece making fun of stretched skin. Different sizes of gourds and logs created different sounds and rhythms.

The influence African

In most African cultures, drums are very important in the use of rituals and religious ceremonies. People from different African tribes relied in the use drums to express themselves and when the slave trade began, the drums made the journey across the ocean too.

African drums and drums provide a unique sound that heavily influenced Western Rock and Roll. These same rhythms and sounds to provide a strong influence on the sounds of today.

The first Drum Set

When it was discovered that a player can play two or more tanks at the same time, people begin placing groups of drums together for a musician play. These groups consisted of an assimilation of drums of different cultures and all over the world. Cymbals and tom tom drums were brought from China and size has been adjusted to facilitate the game when played with sticks.

In the early 1930's, musicians slowly discovered the correct placement drum and lots of practice, a player can address a set of drums, and plenty of batteries no longer needed. Therefore, a basic kit evolved and carried out.

In The first kit

The early drum kits were simple in their design, which is expressed in general, only:

1) A bass and pedal

2) A box

3) Tom Toms

4) The hi-hat hi

5) one or two games suspended cymbal

The evolution of the Drum Set

In the 1930's, the battery was heavily influenced by the sounds at the time and the earliest forms rock and roll. The sounds are hard fan base.

In the 1950's as Rock and Roll began to develop, the sounds became more complex and also the drum kits became more sophisticated, with new additions added to them. Rockers began expanding the drum kits adding more cymbals and tom toms drums to them. In addition, over time, electronic drums were added to drum kits as well. For the drum pros out there, what is the best drumset to buy?

My guy has been a drummer for 20 years and we are going to buy a new drumset. We have looked at Gretsch, DW, Pacific, Yaka and other types of drums. We are looking for a standard 4 piece (as he has stands, cymbals and a snare already) drumset around the 2K mark. For the pros out there, what is the best set for our money? Anyone know of drums made to order by the little guys? Any professional help is appreciated.

I always advise drums to made to order by the little guys, since I am one of them! haha. I’m not a full fledged company yet, so I’ll stop the shameless plug and tell you my views.

C&C is an excellent company (craftmanship, hand rubbed finishes). SJC is very creative (butcher Hoops, inlays). Spaun specializes in awesome paint jobs. Dark Horse Percussion is an up and comer with good skills and good prices. Risen drums is good too. The problem with alot of these custom companies, is that it’s the same thing across the board, except the bigger boys like Truth, SJC, and spaun charge a lot. Phattie drums are great too but you may want to use only single ply heads with those because their bearing edges make a dead sound with two ply heads.

Either way, keep in mind that with all these custom companies, they’re all made with the same fantastic drum shells (Keller) and the same lugs/hoops/mounts (Worldmax/Dixon, Gauger/RIMS). There are plenty of dudes out there like me who have regular jobs but can build a killer drum set that can hang with the guys at Shine and Truth.

Don’t buy OCDP. That’s the one big custom shop that I have seen too many issues with. Their hardware (lugs, mounts) suck. Stay away from Creature Drum Co. in florida because He can’t use a tape measure. (Badges off center, crooked tube lugs, etc). Shine drums is popular, however I’ve seen some stains and fades that were just garbage quality. Plus, they’ve been known to quote “endorsers discounts” that weren’t really discounts because they jacked up the “regular price” and discounted from that. Kinda underhanded.

If you don’t go with a custom shop kit, look on Ebay for a good quality DW. Not Pacific. A DW. If you have 2K don’t go wasting it on a toyota when you can get the Lexus.

Or you can look at a Ludwig Classic Maple. Or a Ludwig Vistalite if you’re into the acrylic thing. Phattie drum co. makes a great Acrylic and the DDrum Diode is a nice acrylic too.

Do not buy a gretsch. They look nice but they have the worst bearing edges of any company. They’re too lazy to do a countercut and too much hand shaping on the edge for it to be truly flat. Do not buy Pearl either because while their bearing edges may look nice, they’re not flat for the most part. Plus Pearl likes to do underhanded things to smaller builders, like steal their designs (Spaun’s vented snares and their failed attempt last year to patent Stave drum shells).

Also there are plenty of custom drums that make the rotation on ebay. A buddy of mine here in town got a Truth 3 piece set for $1450. It has glass glitter wrap and Claw style wood hoops. Same set from Truth would have cost him $2600 after an endorsers discount. Sure it wasn’t his ideal color, but Silver Glass Glitter with Chrome hardware is so classy that he didn’t care, and he gets tons of compliments on it. You or your bf may run into the same luck. Just keep your eyes out.

Good luck.

I like to use an old shirt / jacket (heavy shirt hot) much, although very old and worn Tho. I keep a perfectly clean, but is used and looks very bad. LOL I almost never used in public and if I do, it is always covered by another coat heavy. I love for sentimental reasons, I guess. And it's comfortable. Weirdo IA I?
